Creating Add-ons

An add-on allows you to extend the functionality of a Visual Components 4.0 product. That is, doing more with the software. For example, you can develop new features and services for the main application, add logic and programs for components, and integrate external controllers and client-side applications. To facilitate the development of add-ons, Visual Components offers open API libraries for both .NET and Python programming languages.
