Find and Use Python Add-ons
Process Modeling (PM) is a simple, easy, and visual way of distributing products, processes, and process flows in a layout. This feature streamlines the layout planning and optimization process with a quick simulation setup in Visual Components software.
These lessons try to teach the basics of PM, from creating a basic layout to editing products or defining new products, as well as creating custom machines.
Some keyword definitions are as below:
Product: Any entity which goes through a particular process in a layout.
Process: A set of statements that assign certain behavior to a process.
Flow: The sequence of processes that the product follows in a layout during the simulation.
TOPIC: PROCESS MODELING
DURATION: 20 minutes
REQUIREMENTS:
Visual Components 4.2 or higher. Note: Some tutorials require Visual Components Professional or Premium.
Layout Configuration
